I was born and raised in BC, and spent most of my youth hiking and camping through this province’s amazing forests, lakes and mountains. In my early 20s, I spent one life-changing season as an Educo instructor and have since stayed involved in the community as a past Board member and program collaborator.
I strongly believe in the transformational power of the land, culture and programs of Educo for youth and adults alike. I hold dearly the life-long lessons and friendships Educo has generously gifted to me. On a professional front, I’ve spent the last 10 years leading health system and community innovation work locally and internationally with UNICEF, the Aga Khan Foundation, WHO and JUMP! Foundation.
I currently run an innovation consulting firm that supports public, private, and nonprofit organizations to apply behavioural science to promote positive behaviour change in leadership teams, employees, customers and their communities. I now live in east Vancouver and can often be found climbing trees in Trout Lake Park with my wife and two young children.
