Application
Requirements for an Educo Subsidy
Educo Adventure School has allocated funds to contribute
towards regular Educo programs for deserving individuals.
The primary purpose of giving subsidies is for individuals
(and their families) with limited financial resources
to have the opportunity to attend Educo programs. Please
consider whether this applies to you before completing
your letter of request.
Please note that an average Educo subsidy
is $150-$250 per applicant. Generally, Educo
does not subsidize the entire program fee.
Intermediate, Senior and Leadership applicants
must write their own letter of request while
Junior students can write their letter with
the assistance of parents or teachers.
The letter of request must clearly address
the three points outlined below. There are
no right or wrong responses. Simply reply to
each of the points honestly.
Points to address in request letter:
1. Please explain, in as much
detail as possible, why your financial situation
makes it difficult for you and/or your family
to afford the program fees.
2. Please indicate how much subsidy
you feel you require (i.e. a dollar amount) and
also indicate any plans you have to seek financial
assistance from other sources.
3. Please explain why you wish
to attend an Educo Program (e.g. What are you
looking forward to most about Educo? What do
you hope to learn?)
Include the title “Letter
of Request for an Educo Subsidy” and include
your name, address,
phone number, age, email address and what program
you would like to attend.
Please send the letter with the
rest of your application (information form, medical
form, waiver, etc) to us either by mail, email
or fax right away and we will reply to you as
soon as we can.
We appreciate any donation made
to our subsidy fund to help
us continue this valuable program.
