My relationship with Educo began when I was placed in an intermediate girls group the summer of 2010. I was not specifically informed what the camp had to offer me, but I thought I had some idea of what “adventure school” might mean. The long and short of it is that I was pleasantly surprised that Educo was not solely about adventuring. Educo, for me, is a place where you come to feed your soul.
I’m originally from Williams Lake, BC but during the part of the year that I don’t work at Educo, I study dance and theatre at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver. One day I plan to merge my passion for outdoor adventures, and experiential learning with my passion for collaborative creative process, and deep explorations of the world and oneself.
