My name is John, currently living in Kamloops, BC. I am a Traffic Engineer with the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure. It is my job to keep the citizens of BC safe on our roads while still getting them to work on time.
While at home, I keep myself passionate in motorcycles, woodworking, and cooking. Two of these skills proved very valuable while I worked at Educo as the Site Chef in 2008 and 2009. At the young age of 18, I took on the biggest responsibility of my life trying to keep everyone full and happy through the summer. It was an extraordinary experience for me, one that I will never forget.
Prior to working on site, I was a student at Educo between 2004 and 2007. These years shaped who I am today. I found Educo at a very important time in my life, when it was able to develop my strength of character and ability.
Quoting a fellow board member, Educo has the solution of many of the problems the world is currently facing. My goal as a board member is to ensure that Educo grows into this next generation and is available to provide these solutions to as many as possible: solutions that can shape individuals and society.
